Any glazed door can have a variety of glass, it doesn’t have to have what it’s advertised with. Traditional or contemporary living can be enhanced with individual touches such as using coloured glass or etched glass.

Available as cut to size or in sheets of 1120 x 2140 mm. Thicknesses: standard 4mm and safety glass (5 mm or 7mm laminate – we do not recommend that our glass be toughened). All patterns also available in a fully opaque version suitable for locations where complete privacy is required (laminate only). This glass can be supplied as double glazed units.

Etched Glass Panels
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Regent Design is produced in various configurations to suit different sized glass panels. The Vase designs are based on a door panel design of the 1860s. The Regent (with optional border) and Vase C designs can be sand-blasted to accommodate bespoke panels sizes.

Decorative Glass
Decorative Glass Borders
Designed to be used in nine-pane style doors and in bordered windows, typical of Victorian properties. Borders may be printed, brilliant cut or sand-blasted. The sand-blasted borders are used as a ‘frame’ around single designs or to compliment bespoke property names/ numbers.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The printed border designs (Clematis, Regency Swirl, Small Vine and Vine) are available in etch, amber stain and etch/ amber, as shown below.
The sandblasted border designs can be added manually onto any sandblasted piece (clear designs on an etched background or etched designs on a clear background).
Bespoke window borders which have been either deep-sandblasted or brilliant cut are also available.

Decorative Glass Corners
The range of decorative glass corners is designed to be used in nine-pane style doors and in bordered windows, typical of Victorian properties. Bespoke sizes available.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Starburst corner squares are brilliant cut by hand (3mm handmade glass or 6mm laminate). The Shamrock and Garland corners are printed onto flat glass. The Victorian corner is a single square taken from our ‘Victorian’ pattern sheet (any one of the four designs may be chosen).
The Seaside and Vegetable designs are sandblasted onto mouth-blown flashed glass. It is also possible to sandblast these designs onto door panels or window panes.

Decorative Solid Colour Glass
There are three solid ‘pot’ colours, Cobalt Blue, Ruby and pale Emerald, so called as they are produced from a molten pot of solid coloured glass. Available in 3mm thickness or approx 6mm laminte. Flashed Amber glass, manufactured in our factory using kiln-fired silver oxide, is available in standard 4mm and laminate (5mm or 7mm).

Decorative Sandblasted Glass
The process of sandblasting uses fine abrasive particles to produce an etched appearance on the surface of the glass. Each piece is made by hand, first creating and laying out the design on the glass and then carrying out the sand-blasting process.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The sand-blasting proess allows us to produce designs to your exact specification. Frequently used for etched glass fanlights, we can add your house name or house number, with or without a surrounding border.
We can sand-blast any of our Regent designs or our Vase C design to create a bespoke product that will exactly fit the size of glass panel that you require. We can also apply decorative borders to these designs or apply the border standalone. If the glass is not being laminated or placed into a unit then a protective covering can be applied to the sandblasted surface.
