With so many finishes to choose from, which one is right? This handy guide below shows the difference in the finishes.
Satin Chrome/ Polished Chrome (SCPC)
A stunning combination of Satin Chrome and Polished Chrome. The moderately contemporary look of Satin Chrome is combined with the smooth-mirror like finish of Polished Chrome.
Polished Chrome Plated (PC)
The smooth-mirror like finish of Polished Chrome gives it a dramatic allure that never fails to make a statement. Polished Chrome finds its inspiration in the Art Deco movement and the jazzy style of the roaring 20’s, but is able to seamlessly transition into the minimalist approach of the 1930’s and 40’s as well.
Satin Chrome (SC)
Satin Chrome has a moderately contemporary look and feel that takes its origins from the Bauhaus style movement. The subtle luster is edgy and alluring but never grandiose. It is considered to be a highly amenable finish and is often used in commercial applications.
Satin Stainless Steel (SSS)
Satin Stainless Steel is a grey colour with very slight golden undertones. Satin Stainless Steel has visible brush marks in the surface of the item.
Polished Stainless Steel (PSS)
Stainless Steel is composed of a variety of metals, with no less than 10% chromium. Stainless steel is widely recognised as one of the most durable metals because of its high resistance to rust and corrosion.
Antique Brass (AB)
Antique Brass is rich with brown hues and golden undertones that lend a warm, inviting appeal. This finish closely resembles the look of natural brass and is undeniably Victorian, with hints of Colonial Era style occasionally peeking through. The high-gloss finish gives it a touch of the modern world.
Matt Antique Brass (MAB)
Matt Antique Brass is perfect for modernised barn conversions where style and taste is desired! This finish boasts golden undertones and brown hues of Antique Brass whilst having a modern matt finishing touch. For accompanying products, we recommend using either Matt Antique Brass or Antique brass.
Polished Brass Plated (BP)
The Polished Brass finish is highly reflective, with a warm golden sheen that lends the finish a certain vintage appeal. This finish is commonly found in older, colonial homes – particularly those styled in the 1990’s. The widespread availability of Polished Brass makes it easy to find and, therefore, easy to match with other hardware, fixtures and accessories. Antique Copper (AC)

Black Nickel (BN)
The Black Nickel finish is highly polished with a bright nickel under-plate resulting in a deep, lustrous, jet-black finish often referred to as “black chrome”.
